The purpose of the USC Salkehatchie Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize former USC Salkehatchie athletes for outstanding achievements and contributions both to the USC Salkehatchie campus and to the greater com-munity. Nominations for this award will be accepted by the USC Salkehatchie Hall of Fame Committee from any source. The nominations must be in writing and include name, years of attendance at USC Salkehatchie and justification for the nomination. Nominations may be submitted to the Athletic Di­rector at USC Salkehatchie. To be nominated, a candidate, during his/her undergraduate days at USC Salkehatchie, should have performed in intercollegiate athletics in a manner that may be considered outstanding. The nominees must have demonstrated good citizenship both while at USC Salkehatchie and after leaving USC Salkehatchie. All athletes at USC Salkehatchie become eligible for this honor five (5) years after leaving USC Salkehatchie. Additionally, honorary awards may be made to any individuals who have contributed significantly to the athletic program at USC Salkehatchie. Eligible are those individuals who have contributed significantly to the athletic program; i.e., coaches, trainers, administrators, etc. The nomination process described above is also used for honorary awards.
