South Hobart FC is delighted to announce the re-signing of influential goal keeper Kane Pierce.
Kane who has been chased by a big mainland club has committed his future to South again for 2015. He became first choice goal keeper at the start of the 2014 season. He is a brilliant shot stopper, a keeper who commanded his area and dominated players in front of him and was instrumental to South’s success.
Kane Pierce commented: “It is a great feeling to re-sign for South Hobart. In my short time at South I have really enjoyed my football and the success we have had at the club. I look forward to the challenges that the 2015 season presents.”
Ken Morton was delighted to be working with Kane for another season and said: “Kane sets very high standards for himself and his team mates. We will give him a leadership role this season.”
All the young goal keepers at South will be excited to train with Kane as he helps them to develop even further.
