Goodwell, Okla.—Antonio Manns, Jr. wrapped up his college playing career in fine fashion earning post season accolades by both the Heartland Conference and OklahomaSports.net.

As an Aggie, Manns put up points on 113 three-pointers, 226 shots from the field and 392 free-throws to average 21.125 points per game over 56 total games. He brought down 316 rebounds and got away with 70 steals while at OPSU.

He averaged 20.4 points per game and held a field goal percentage of .455. Taking on heavy pressure throughout the season, Manns was sent to the line for 223 free throw attempts this year and averaged 84.8 percent in free throws, ranking fifth in the conference and 11th nationally.

In addition to scoring, Manns was a strong contributor at the glass totaling 150 rebounds on the season; just behind the team’s leading rebounder Zoran Arsenovic who hauled in 155 boards. Manns held a team-high for points scored beyond the arc landing 51 three-pointers his senior season. He totaled 37 steals and averaged 20.4 minutes of playing time as a starter in each of the Aggies’ 28 games.

Manns was also named to the 2016 All-OSN Men’s Basketball Team placed as a Second Team member for Division II. OklahomaSports.net recognizes small colleges throughout the state and offers articles, posts, podcasts and features in addition to fan polls and post-season recognition.

As his senior year comes to a close, a hopeful future lies ahead with prospects of continuing his playing career after graduation. Congratulation and best of luck to Antonio Manns, Jr. who has certainly set the bar high for OPSU Men’s Basketball.
