Andrew Livingston was selected for the Dean’s Award as the 2018 Male Athlete of the Year at USC Salkehatchie. He is pictured here with Dr. Ann Carmichael, Dean of the USC Salkehatchie Campus who made the selection and presented the award.
Each year Dean Carmichael asks for nominations from our coaches for student athletes who not only have high academic achievement but also a positive attitude on the field and on campus. The idea is that these athletes (male and female) represent what USC Salkehatchie considers the ideal student athlete.
Andrew was nominated by Coach Bubba Dorman and selected by Dean Carmichael for this year. Coach Dorman says of Andrew ” Andrew Livingston is a young man that pays attention to detail. Not only does he listen to what is said and suggested to him, he has the aptitude to put it into action on the field. He is a young man with high character and integrity. He is relentless in his pursuits of being a good college baseball player. He is a young man that shows up every day and gives his very best.”
Andrew has a 4.0 at Salk and will be graduating in May with his Associate’s Degree.
