Coach Dale Bacino To Head Up USC Salk Women’s Soccer

Jeremy Joye, Athletic Director at USC Salkehatchie, is pleased to announce that effective January 4, Coach Dale Bacino will take the helm of the Indian’s women’s soccer team.  “Getting Dale on board is a major step forward for the program,” according to Joye.  “We both come to SALK from Spartanburg Methodist, a friendly in-state rival.  So, I know with what high regard Dale is held within the South Carolina soccer community.”

Besides serving as Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at SMC, Bacino has led A.C. Flora High School’s highly rated girls’ soccer team since 2017, notching a region championship in 2019.  He’s also a mainstay on the coaching staff at Congaree Rapids Soccer Club.  “My thanks go to Coach Dan Kenneally at SMC,” Bacino said. “He gave me an introduction to college soccer and encouraged me to follow my dream of becoming a head coach.”

Bill Glass, Bacino’s predecessor, will not be far away.  Glass will continue to coach the Indian’s men and will provide administrative oversight.  “I’m happy our ladies will have a dedicated coach now,” Glass said.  “The program has been finishing near the top in Region X during the last few years.  Now Dale will bring the focus necessary to win a championship!”
