Media Information and Policies

USC Salkehatchie understands the importance of assisting the media in providing coverage of the institution, its athletics programs, administrators, coaches and student-athletes. Our goal is to disseminate information as widely, uniformly and fairly as possible using normally accepted media standards. To this end, the best attempt will be made to fill reasonable requests by media outlets. 

 

VENUE LOCATIONS

Basketball

The USC Salkehatchie gym is located on the East USC Salkehatchie campus in Walterboro, South Carolina.

 

Volleyball

The USC Salkehatchie Indians gym is located on the East USC Salkehatchie campus in Walterboro, South Carolina.

 

Soccer

The soccer fields are located behind the USC Salkehatchie library on the West USC Salkehatchie campus in Allendale, South Carolina.

 

Baseball

The USC Salkehatchie Indians baseball field is located on the West USC Salkehatchie campus in Allendale, South Carolina.

 

Softball 

The USC Salkehatchie Indians softball complex is located on the West USC Salkehatchie campus in Allendale, South Carolina.

 

MEDIA

The University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie welcomes visiting radio stations. In order to accommodate each station, please give us one week’s notice of your anticipated attendance. Visiting stations will need to bring any equipment needed to broadcast. USC Salkehatchie does not have phone lines located at any field or gym.

 

INTERVIEW POLICY

Requests for interviews by all media outlets must be made through the USC Salkehatchie Office of Communications and Marketing and then approved through the head coach.

 

Each head coach and player will be made available after a brief cooling-off period following each game. Interviews will be conducted at each respective venue.
