Her name is Heaven Green. She's from Colleton County High and is raring to go.
"After speaking to her on the phone, I knew she had the energy that we demand of our players here at Salkehatchie," Aquino says. "Meeting Heaven and her dad in person really clinched the deal. She has an inspiring personality, is so excited to get going, and is looking forward to getting to work. She's texted me twice already about wanting to get into the gym to get reps in!"
Heaven says she is excited to be part of the Salkehatchie basketball family.
"When I think of playing collegiate basketball at Salk, I think of my favorite quote by Derek Rose: 'My days shouldn't be hard because I'm doing what I'm doing and that's playing basketball.' "
