Barnesville, G.A. – The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball team improved to 9-6 on the season with a road victory over Gordon State, 95-81.
In the first half, USC Salkehatchie jumped out to an early 17-5 lead, using the press to create easy transition baskets. Gordon State rallied with a run of their own, but Salkehatchie controlled the tempo throughout the half and had a 52-41 advantage at the break.
In the second half, Salkehatchie utilized its depth and length as it pushed its lead to as high as 22. All 12 eligible players checked in for Salkehatchie, who went on to win 95-81.
