WALTERBORO, S.C. – The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball team opened the season with an exhibition victory. Salkehatchie defeated the Francis Marion development team139-100 to win its home opener after returning to action following last season's championship run.
After a slow start, Salkehatchie found the pace and played their way to a 79-47 halftime lead. All 12 eligible players for Salk checked in and contributed to the victory. 139 points becomes the most points scored in the Coach Lynch era.
