WALTERBORO, S.C. – The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball team set a new program record for scoring on Monday with 153 total points. Salkehatchie improved to 1-0 after defeating SEA Prep, 153-88. The previous scoring record was 150 points scored on February 25, 2020, as Salkehatchie beat SC Faith A&M 150-90, and had 8 players score double digits.
Salkehatchie scored over 100 points for the second straight game and had a large lead going into the half at 70-49. As the second half got underway Salkehatchie continued its hot shooting en route to the 65-point victory.
Salkehatchie will continue its four-game home stand as they host Johnston Community College on Thursday, Nov. 7 at home.
