WALTERBORO, SC. The Salkehatchie volleyball squad was victorious over conference opponent Denmark Tech tonight in a record-breaking 44-minute match.
"The plan tonight was to hold them at 5 or under for each set," said Coach Dani Aquino. "It's easy to play differently against underperforming teams, but tonight my goal was to handle the ball on our side of the net, set the pace, and control the tempo. And we did just that."
Scores of tonight's sets were 25-8, 25-5 and 25-5. The Salkehatchie squad hits the road Friday to face conference opponent USC Union, then head to Caldwell for a tri-match on Saturday.
