WALTERBORO, S.C. – The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball team ran by Franklin Prep Academy on Tuesday, 141- 65. Salkehatchie is now 18-5 on the season and has won 17 straight home games dating back to the 2023-2024 season. The men's basketball program completes its non-conference schedule with a 13-3 record.
Salkehatchie controlled the game from buzzer to buzzer. Using its depth to keep the game in transition, Salkehatchie took a 43-point lead into halftime, 78-35. The team stayed hot coming out of halftime in a contest where all 11 USC Salkehatchie players scored.
Salkehatchie will now depart The Palace for a three-game road trip. They will play back-to-back this Friday and Saturday against Richard Bland (6-12 overall, 4-4 in conference) and Wake Tech (12-12 overall, 4-4 in conference). Then they will head to Wilmington, N.C. next Wednesday to take on Cape Fear (12-9 overall, 4-4 in conference).
