WALTERBORO, S.C. – The USC Salkehatchie men's basketball extended their winning streak to four after defeating Franklin Prep on Thursday evening 127-83. Salkehatchie improves to 10-3 overall.
Salkehatchie was in the driver's seat from the start, jumping out to an early 29-7 lead. Utilizing all 10 available players, Salk controlled the first half and built a 27-point lead going into halftime, 66-39.
Salkehatchie stayed aggressive in the second half as they cruised to a 44-point victory.
Now the men's basketball program will begin preparation for conference play. Salkehatchie hits the road on January 8 as they travel up to Hudson, N.C., to take on Caldwell Tech in the Region 10 opener.
