Allendale, SC – The USC Salkehatchie women’s basketball team kicked off their 2024-2025 season against a tough Andrew College squad. Although the Indians fell short in their season opener 60-39, the team showed promise and fought hard throughout the game.
Ella Tevid led the team with 12 points and 5 assists. Jataya Brown and Gena Hall each contributed 9 points, leading the team in steals with 6 each and rebounds with 7 each.
Salkehatchie aims to build on this experience as they continue their season. Their next game is a rematch against Andrew College on November 29.
