Coach Kenneth Bellamy

Coach BellamyKenneth Bellamy is a native of Beach Island, South Carolina.  He is entering his second year as head coach at USC Salkehatchie.  Coach Bellamy graduated from Silver Bluff High School in 2003, where he played baseball for four years.  He attended the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie campus  and played baseball under former coach Joe Baxter and current Indians head coach Bubba Dorman.  He graduated from USC Salkehatchie in 2005 with an associate degree in arts.  He continued his academic and playing career at Paine College in Augusta, Georgia.  In his two years at Paine College, Coach Bellamy was a starting pitcher and English major.  He won the coaches award and senior award.  He graduated Cum Laude from Paine College with a B.A. majoring in English.

Coach Bellamy was a volunteer coach for the Carolina Raiders travel softball team for over seven years.  He was also a volunteer softball coach at both Aiken High School and Midland Valley High School.  He spent two years as the assistant baseball and eight months as interim head coach at Paine College.  Coach Bellamy enjoys golf in his free time.
